The PA or FNP will work in a primary care clinic setting under the supervision of a staff physician. This is a new venture and will focus on patient assessment and basic treatments. After a period of orientation, the PA or FNP will work as a team and consult medical staff as needed. There will also be periodic rotations through the Urgent Care/Emergency Department until the clinic is up and running. Shifts will be three 12-hour shifts weekly with no weekend work. Location is in west central Illinois in a community of 40,000 located on the Mississippi River. Illinois license and DEA number, a plus. Salary range $75-101K based on experience, plus incentive compensation plan. Relocation assistance is available. Signing bonus for immediate hire.

Responsible for seeing all follow up pain patients as well as assisting the physician in seeing the new patients. Physician will train if someone wants to learn about trigger point injections, knee, elbow and shoulder joints injections. Position is Mon-Fri with no weekend or call. Clinic uses "Electronic Medical Record (EMR)" and each exam room is equipped with computer. No hand writing, notes, paper work or dictation. It is a busy practice and average number of follow up patients seen by FNP/PA could be 35-45. EMR set-up makes visits very quick and easy. Small town location is in southeast Missouri and has 16000-18000 population. Area is like a resort with large lake and lots of hiking, fishing, hunting, golf, horse riding and boating. Cost of living is very inexpensive and everything is within a 5-minute drive. Salary $72-86K plus production bonus (20% over $15000/month collection). Malpractice, Health & Dental. Up to $6000 in relocation.
