Nurse Practitioner/Phoenix, AZ - Nurse Practitioner needed to join progressive cardiology practice in Phoenix, Arizona. The practice is involved in hospital and office based research, teaching and precepting students, often having cardiac fellows rotate with physicians as part of their program. These opportunities increase the academic level keeping all constantly challenged and motivated to learn about and implement new data and technology. This a practice involved in changing trends in health care requiring advanced skills and role development. You will also enjoy a friendly, supportive environment. The Mid Level Providers see inpatients at five valley hospitals, and provide consultation at Banner Good Sam, Banner Estrella, St. Joe's, St. Luke's and AZ Heart Hospital. Take calls on weekends, am (rotate). Follow up patients in the office and oversee treadmill exams. Requires current AZ licensure, and DEA license, excellent clinical competency, and effective interpersonal skills. Cardiovascular inpatient Experience preferred. Knowledge of EMR a must! Salary range is $85 to 95K plus benefits.
