Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Lumberton, NC - Physician extender to work in outpatient mental health program. Practice with Psychiatrists, Outpatient Therapists and community based staff to see persons with a range of mental health diagnoses. Conduct evaluations and medication management. No on-call. Psychiatric Experience and Training necessary. Some travel to sites required. The city of 20,000 is located on the Lumber River in the coastal plains region of southeastern North Carolina. The Lumber River State Park, one hundred and fifteen miles of natural and scenic waterway, flows through the area. The River has been classified as natural, scenic, and recreational and is considered one of the most highly prized recreation sites in North Carolina.
