Family Nurse Practitioner/Sussex County, DE - Community Health Center in rural Sussex County has immediate practice opportunity for a Family Nurse Practitioner. FNP will join team of physicians and nurse practitioners to provide comprehensive medical services for patients of all ages. The clinic provides pediatric, adult, prenatal and obstetrical and geriatric care, chronic disease management, CLIA waived laboratory testing, mental/behavioral services, and on-site diabetes and HIV education. The FNP will primarily be responsible for serving a large walk-in population. Ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience working with underserved, low-income or homeless persons. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. but not required. Current Delaware license. Small community with year-round population of 8000 which swells to over 50,00 during summer tourist season. Salary $80-85K plus health and dental, holidays, 20 annual leave days, 5 annual CME days with $2000 allowance and additional cafeteria-style benefits.
